GETTING AROUND HYDRA

Hydra Island is famous for its car free policy, due to the state’s protective measures to preserve the island’s cultural and environmental landscape. The best way to explore the island is by foot and taking hikes, or with sea taxis and boats that can take you to remote destinations.

The sea taxis can be found on the eastern corner of the harbour, in the same area where all boats and passengers arrive on the island. The prices for the rides are fixed and there is a 50% extra charge after midnight.

We are always here to help with the bookings and provide you with any further information, such as contacts, prices, recommendations etc.
